Research and Development of Key Technologies for the Industrial Production of High-Purity Polyglycerol Esters via Biomanufacturing

Recently, the research achievement titled “R&D on Key Technologies for the Industrialization of Bio‑manufacturing of High‑Purity Polyglycerol Esters,” led by Guangdong Jiadele Technology Co., Ltd. and jointly undertaken with South China University of Technology, China Agricultural University, and the Sericulture and Agricultural Product Processing Research Institute of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, has passed the national evaluation of scientific and technological achievements.

Opinion of the Evaluation Committee

The project’s overall technological achievements have reached an internationally advanced level, with its multi-stage molecular distillation technology for purifying polyglycerol esters attaining an internationally leading position.

Polyglycerol esters are key functional ingredients in industries such as food, personal care, and plastic additives. This achievement replaces conventional chemical processes with enzymatic catalysis and employs multi‑stage molecular distillation to achieve high‑purity separation and purification. It marks another successful industrial application of biomanufacturing by JiaDeLe, following its undertaking of a national key R&D project under the 14th Five-Year Plan.
