Good news! Jiadele has been awarded the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of Guangdong Province.

Recently, the People’s Government of Guangdong Province officially awarded the 2024 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. The project “Key Technologies and Equipment for Large-Scale Continuous Green Manufacturing and Application of Functional Lipid Ingredients Based on Fatty Acid Esters,” led by Guangdong Jiadale Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiadale”) in collaboration with South China University of Technology, Jinan University, Guangdong Yantang Dairy Co., Ltd., and Ligao Food Co., Ltd., was honored with the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

In 2022, Jiadele undertook and participated in the National Key R&D Program of the 14th Five-Year Plan, collaborating with the project’s lead institution, China Agricultural University, and the sub-project undertaking unit, South China University of Technology, to jointly tackle the research topic of “Integrated Technology for Efficient Catalysis and Enrichment‑Purification in the Biomanufacturing of Key Food Ingredients.”

To enhance its product R&D capabilities and overcome project‑level challenges, Jiadale has, in recent years, leveraged the “Pearl River Talent Program” to cultivate innovative research talent and recruited a team led by an academician of the Australian Academy of Science. At the same time, it has partnered with universities such as Jinan University and South China University of Technology to establish R&D teams, investing over RMB 200 million in research and development and, after years of effort, mastering 17 core technologies. Notably, an enzyme‑catalyzed synthesis technology co‑developed with Jinan University has reduced the production cycle for oligoglycerol fatty acid esters by 40%; meanwhile, a postdoctoral innovation and practice base jointly established with South China University of Technology has broken through conventional equipment capacity limits, yielding multiple invention patents and contributing to the revision of national standards.

The recruitment of top talent, institutional collaborations, and the continuous advancement of R&D capabilities have opened up boundless opportunities and a remarkably broad horizon for Jiadele to develop new‑type productive forces and achieve groundbreaking innovation.

As a nationally recognized “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche, specialized, and innovative fields, Jiadele has been deeply engaged in ester‑based materials for 20 years. It has successively earned such honors as National Green Factory, National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, the China Patent Excellence Award, the First Prize of the China Cereals and Oils Society Science and Technology Award, and the Guangdong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center.

This year’s receipt of the First Prize of the 2024 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award not only recognizes Jiadele’s two decades of innovation but also epitomizes China’s breakthroughs in the high-end fine chemicals sector, marking a pivotal shift from import dependence to independent, controllable capabilities in the field of advanced ester-based additives. This achievement holds significant strategic importance for elevating both the technological and application standards of China’s food emulsifier and chemical auxiliaries industries, while breaking down international technological barriers, and has yielded substantial social and economic benefits.
