Asian palm oil spot prices have risen.

On Wednesday, spot prices for palm oil in Asia rose. The asking price for crude palm oil with a August 2019 shipment was quoted at USD 518.5 per tonne, compared to USD 515 per tonne on the previous trading day, delivered in South Malaysia.

DCE Palm Oil Futures Closing Prices (20190815)

At today’s close, the Dalian Commodity Exchange’s (DCE) most active palm oil contract for January 2020 settled at 4,780 yuan per tonne, down 32 yuan per tonne, or 0.67%, from the previous trading day. The intraday high was 4,848 yuan per tonne, and the low was 4,768 yuan per tonne.
